I’m reading House of the Spirits at the moment. It’s very entertaining and well-written. But I’m curious about how it could possibly change my life. How did it change yours?

Shit, I hadn’t counted on anyone asking me that question! Busted!!
I’m not sure how it can change your life but I can tell you how they changed mine…House of Spirits in particular made me realise what a fantastic tool magic realism is when writing…it can lead the reader on some pretty amazing journeys.
Oh, and I think I may need to change that pesky line about changing lives!
